In ancient times, people often carried an unpleasant aroma since they didn’t know how to practice proper hygiene. Now, we’ve evolved from public baths once per week, to private baths and showers that occur daily. Believe it or not, there are still a few important hygienic rituals people skip. Although they may not seem like a huge deal, if you neglect these things for too long your health could be compromised.
- Using a cleanser- Many people think they are saving money by skipping out on facial cleanser, but you are doing your body a huge disservice. All soap products are loaded with molecules that attract dirt, oil, and additional debris out of the pores and down the drain. You wouldn’t wash your dishes without soap, so why would you solely use water to cleanse your face? Also, if you are a makeup wearer, you must remove it each and every day!
- Your ears don’t feel loved- When you wash your face don’t forget to include your ears, they collect so much debris. Not only should you be maintaining the amount of earwax you build, but you should also be cleansing the skin that covers your entire ear; including the backs.
