No More Cold Sores

Cold sores, otherwise known as fever blisters, are the result of herpes virus, known as herpes simplex. Cold sores usually show up on or around the lips, and can even show up on the nose or face.  The ailment is painful and highly contagious.  The virus lives in the body and manifests itself only when we are under stress and have lowered immune system, this can also happen around women menstrual period.
Fighting the herpes virus needs to be approach from the inside, although external application will help the area to heal after the virus have been fought.
Prevention is the best remedy for this ailment.  Many Factors can trigger cold sores, including:
 

  • An imbalance of amino acids or lack of L-lysine(essential amino acid provided in foods)
  • Too much stress
  • Over exposure to sun ( protect yourself wear a sunscreen when outdoors)
  • Triggered foods cause outbreaks: almonds, peanuts, citrus fruits and chocolate( take an inventory of what you eat an see what happens to your body, you will be surprise in what you discover)

Find out why your immune system is low, and deal with that problem.  There are several remedies to help support you immune system; you need to look at one which works for you.  Here are some remedies that I would like to share with you:

Apply myrrh or camphor oil locally to relieve the pain of cold sores and speed your recovery.  For internally Echinacea and royal jelly is beneficial to support immune system, and is also a natural antibiotic.  Royal Jelly is rich in amino acid.

My favourite supplements in combination to help this ailment are:

Royal Jelly 1000mg 2x day (high in amino acids L-lysine).

Vit C 1000mg with bioflavonoid 2x day (help counteract triggered foods).

B complex.

Probiotoc & Prebiotic (acidophilus, FOS) take in caps or liquid.

Detoxification of the body with a medical food Ultra Clear  can be helpful for better results.

Foods : Kefir yogourt, almonds, goji, plenty of raw vegetables.
