Vitamin D is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies in populations around the world.
This deficiency can have several consequences for your health, making you more vulnerable to catching a cold, also play’s a role in mood disorders, seasonal disorder’s and depression.
Easiest way to protect yourself against this deficiency in the winter month’s is to get 30 min of unprotected sun exposure everyday (between 10 am to 13pm). Although wearing sunscreen is a good idea, keep in mind SPF will keep your skin from absorbing the Vitamin D directly from the sun.
