The importance of consuming enough protein per day. Do you know how much you should consume?
• 0.83 grams per kg of your weight per day
• 1.00 grams per kg of your weight per day (for the elderly)
• 1.5 grams per kg for people who want to lose weight.
When the desired weight is reached, return to 0.83 gr per day.
These numbers have been researched and well documented on people, and statistics show this increase can help them obtain a healthy lifestyle with less pain or loss of muscle, all the while helping normal cell growth.

Note: Health Canada dietary reference intake table is much lower. It suggests 0.60 gr per kg.
